BOOKING FEE

The Booking fee of £250 secures the date, time and services of Yellow Boks Media for the wedding and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. All cancellations must be in writing.

 POSTPONEMENT

A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation and accordingly Yellow Boks Media will at her discretion charge a fee of upon postponement of the agreed date.
You can now move your date at any time for a fee of £150. (Subject to availability).

PAYMENTS

Following payment of the booking fee, balance of payment is due up to 1 month before the wedding date. Payment for additional images are to be made when they are ordered. Payment by Bank Transfer is preferred and bank details will be provided on the invoice. 
 

LATE PAYMENT FEE

Yellow Boks Media reserves the right to charge interest at the rate prescribed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 from the due date until the date payment is made.

 

DISPLAY

Yellow Boks Media may use any images included in this contract on their website, portfolio, literature, display areas, exhibitions, competitions, advertising, slide shows or commercially unless the subjects express the wish for this not happen prior to the event.

 

COPYRIGHT

Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988 and remain the copyright of Yellow Boks Media. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically, electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of Yellow Boks Media.

 

IMAGES

Yellow Boks Media will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film or digitally the exact colour as seen by the human eye. For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the photographer's movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer's choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case. Yellow Boks Media is not responsible if key individuals fail to appear, fail to co-operate during photography sessions, or for failure to capture images due to details not revealed to the Photographer. Yellow Boks Media recommends a designated person to be an ‘event guide’ to point out important individuals for informal or candid photographs to Yellow Boks Media during the Wedding Day. 

 

RAW IMAGES

As a photographer everything I put out into the world is a representation of my style and brand. The raw images could be posted as they are or edited in a manner that I wouldn't. As an artist it is important for me to release a finalized product. For this reason, I will not release any raw files.  


 

EDITING

All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. Yellow Boks Media's judgment regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward shall be deemed correct. If an image is good and unique it will be included.


 

DELIVERY

Digital files in JPEG format, and prints if specified on the package you choose will be delivered within four to six weeks of the wedding day, during the most popular months for weddings, April through to October please allow up to eight weeks for delivery, I will always endeavour to deliver your photographs as soon as I possibly can. 

Digital files will be uploaded to the online protected viewing gallery and will be available to download and share via social media. 



 

LICENCE

Yellow Boks Media shall be granted artistic license in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. The Photographers judgment regarding the locations, poses and number of images taken shall be deemed correct. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested. 

Limitation of Liability In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
 

MILEAGE CHARGE

No mileage charge applies within 50 miles from West Lavington, Wiltshire. Calculated using the postcode SN10 4HU. Distances in excess of this will incur a small surcharge of 45 pence per mile. If your wedding venue is a fair distance from West Lavington, Wiltshire an overnight stay may be required and a charge for accommodation may incur unless you are able to provide accommodation. 

 

ATTENDANCE

In the unlikely event of the assigned Photographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend your wedding on our behalf to undertake the wedding photography to his/her best ability.


 

ADDITIONAL HOURS

Any hours worked above the time set out in the package you have chosen will be charged at £150 per hour. 



 

CANCELLATIONS

Upon acceptance of this agreement and initial booking fee a cooling-off period of five (5) working days is allowed for any change-of-mind. After this period, no refunds for change-of-mind will apply. Should the event be cancelled, a written agreement to notify Yellow Boks Media will also apply. Cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the date of the wedding are required to pay the remaining balance. These conditions also apply to postponed weddings if Yellow Boks Media is unavailable for the rescheduled date and time.
